Strangers.

We were two different people living in our own worlds. We did not know each other until life decided to let our paths cross. It was during high school, and just like most teenagers seeking to belong, I have actively engaged in school organizations and activities. One of those was the supreme student council. I can no longer remember which position in the org I held. It was our first encounter. He was also elected to hold one of the positions in the council (I honestly could not remember which) and since then we greeted each other casually whenever we meet in the school grounds. I was a cheeky, innocent little girl back then and to me he was a quiet, reserved guy - not too sociable (I guess not with me, in my opinion). He came off  as "slightly masungit" for a "makulit na bata" that I am. The encounter was nothing significant, but little did we know that it was the start of something great - a pending friendship waiting to blossom.

Two worlds.

My name is Dhey. I'm just a simple girl, with simple dreams, simple hopes, simple aspirations. I am just one of the millions of people who, like me, dream of a fairytale-like love story. As a young lad, I had an ideal view of the world - that it should be like how the movies/books portray: magnificent and magical. I was a princess in my own world.

His name is Ino. He's a kind, humble guy living within his means, loves to spend time with family and friends. Music is in his system, always bringing his acoustic guitar with him like a beloved part of his being. He is well aligned with reality - practical and grounded. He is non-conformist and opinionated.

We were  two different people, living in two different worlds.
